Guide To gettng Charms!Shivers’s guide to getting charmz!
We all know that you need charms for summoning, but there so hard to come by. I’ve killed various things, and found the best dropping monsters and made a guide on them, i'm planning to make guides on all the best monsters, if you know a good charm dropper, pm me or post here. thanks
I'm also compiling a list of tips to help you with summoning and charm gathering, please post or pm me with any tip you think should be added.
You want to go to Varrok sewers, and walk all the way to the back, or, if you have 51 agility, climb through the pipe in edgeville dungeon (I will post a map). Melee is ok, but if you’re a lower level and need food, then it’s not worth it. I brought ranging stuff (I suggest that because you can pick your arrows and save a fortune) bring a hefty supply of arrows, I suggest iron; they hit more then bronze and are cheap (I used bronze  ).
You will want to go to this spot:
The moss giants are too fat to fit in there and you can kill them from all sides.
WARNING! if your NOT attacking the moss giants, they can come through to your spot (they won't if your attacking them) if they do, it will look like the image below:
Moss giants drop charms a lot of the time, and in about 2 hours I collected over 50 gold charms a few greens 1 crimson and 2 blue. They also are good seed droppers, they have some weapon and shield drops, but there not worth taking, they drop tons of laws, 3 at a time. You can see the full list on the tip.it bestrie. There bones give some prayer xp too, so you might want to bury them. You might even get a long bone, DON’T BURY IT!! Trade it in dogerthkahn for 2k (I think) construction xp.
If another person comes op, either world hop or ask them to leave politely, if they don’t want to just hop. Prime time is from 3:30 – 8:00, so go on in the morning (when every one is at school unless you go to school -.-) It's better to be alone, just join clan chat  .
Most of all, be respectful to your fellow Runescaper, even if they are not, and don’t just sit there mindlessly clicking away, summoning is supposed to be fun! Go farm the herbs you got, or get seconds for your pouches! ‘cause what fun is sitting in your mom’s basement clicking at moss giants just so you can level up and do the same thing for another 2 weeks, getting the cape and having no fun at all? NONE (unless you’re a macro ;))
I prefer moss giants to fire, but fire drop charms 90 % of the time (18/20) and drop green/blue/crimson a lot of the time too. They have rare drops of a dragon shield half, and a dragon med helm.
As with moss giants, I like to range, melee is good too, if meleeing make sure you bring:
4+ Combat potions (4) (a combat potions raises ATK and STR)
3+ Super defence (4)
Galadrial’s amulet**
Games necklace (8) (or have more in the bank)
Sharks for food, it’s worth the extra gee pee. Other wise you will have to constantly go and restock.
Gem if doing slayer.
For ranged:
Galadrial’s amulet**
Games necklace (8) (see above)
At least 8 lobsters or 2 prayer potions (4)*** (for melee protect), just in till they stop being aggressive.
Use either a Cross bow with at least sapphire (e) bolts or (p) bolts****, a magic bow with rune or adamant arrows, or a dogerthun (ok spelling I know…) cross bow*****

** If your not wearing it when you enter the waterfall, other wise it will flood.
*** make sure you run through the spirit spiders and don’t get attacked by them (they drain your prayer). If not doing this method, there is no use for prayer.
**** don’t use ruby (e) bolts because they drain your hp too.
***** they don’t hit much but you don’t have to worry about picking the bolts up.

The best place is the waterfall dungeon; the level 50 cave is a very long walk, with reverends etc… Brimhaven is fine; other then that is costs 875 GP to get in and it is a very long walk… To access the waterfall dungeon you need to have finished the waterfall quest.click here for tip.it’s guide on the quest. After the quest you will need to get another amulet (the same way as in the quest) and equip it when you go into the dungeon.
If ranging, go to this spot in till you loose aggressiveness:
I’m not going to list all the safe spots, but my favourites are:
The Chair; it can be used from all sides.
The North Doorway; The giants are too fat to fit in :P.

Try to get a Fire giant slayer task; it’s always nice to raise another skill.
Again, try to have fun raising summoning, along with ranged, attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, magic and slayer.
