Chatbox and Calender
Here's the deal, I have codes for a chatbox and calender that I can put onto the forum. But there are several options we should all discuss. The first option I think is the best. I post a link that leads to the chatbox. Pros: Less loading time and smaller Index Cons: Slightly inappropriate Ads Next Option: Add a chatbox1 straight onto the page. Pros: Can access straight from Index Cons: Still mildly inappropriate ads, more loading time for some computers Finally: I can add a different type of chatbox straight to the Index. Pros: Easier access, no ads Cons: More complicated, longer loading time, bigger Index I would like everyone's opinions, because I do not feel it is right to just add it if people won't like it. Next, we can add a calender to the forum. Not much to say. Any opinions?

I'm liking option 2. I don't want it to take too long to load, but I don't want to have to open up a new tab to see the Cbox. Cbox.com works fine for me. Also, A calendar would be great, as long as it didn't take up space in the index. :P

Option 2 is pretty good, and yes, the calender will take up space at the bottom of the Index, just above the Ads and Online Users interfaces.

Hmm..anyway you could have a calendar that has a link at the top? I'm not too familiar with PhpBB :oops: PS, Change Calander to Calendar :wink:

No I cant, I think. What most of these MODS are are special attachments that I put into forum descriptions, so for the chat box, it would be embedded into a forum called chat box. You cant make the chatbox or calender without the forum!
