Ad Banner in Forum
If you scroll down to the land of guthix forums, towards the bottom is an ad. Can someone tell me how to do this? I have tired and failed and seek advice.

Oh, these are embedded banners that we put up. If you join our advertising program, your ad goes up for up to 2 months at a time. You can use a simply HTML code with links and images, but I have a special code to make them pop-ups. And no, that is for me only.

would you mind showing me this so when I do your ad on my forum i know how....Im kinda lost so....

You are putting up our ad in freewebs, right? If thats the case, you don't need an HTML code. Jus type in the link and press Open in New Window.

Well, I Am PLanning on putting it on Freewebs and my Forum. For Freewebs I need the HTML Code, that is just the only way I can do it. And I am still unaware of How You duys put your banners in the Topic Description.

Simple, just use the IMG SCR and A HREF tags in the description. Its very simple, and freewebs will do it automatically. Just save the image, upload it, and link it.

Alright. SO your banner should be up on my fourm and website ASAP. AS well, will i get a section for my site since I am advertising your forum?

Guthix121- 01-01-2008

We no longer give out forum sections, since it makes the Index too big. And as for your ad term, you will need to contact thru-, since we are booked for the month of January.

Since this is turning into a conversation between us, let us continue in PM..and close this thred
